Is it possible to compare it with the average value?
A
JASMES publishes data comparing climatology values and statistical products (8-day statistics, monthly statistics). It is displayed by clicking "Anomaly" in the selection item "Obs / Anomaly" on JASMES Image Analyzer or Image Archive. The following 6 products are currently supported.
  • Land: Land Surface Temperature, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index
  • Ocean: Sea Surface Temperature, Chlorophyll-a concentration
  • Atmosphere: Aerosol Optical Thickness at 500 nm, Shortwave radiation

If you want to display a date and location of your own choosing, follow the steps below.
  1. Access JASMES Image Analyzer or JASMES Image Archive.
  2. From the menu on the left side of the screen, select the desired physical quantity, target area, and statistical period.
  3. Choose "Anomaly" within the menu.
You can click on the images displayed in the Image Analyzer or Image Archive to download them as PNG files.
Images of deviations from normal values in formats like GeoTIFF are not provided. However, you can download climatological data via FTP and analyze it yourself.
