Data List

RGB image

This is an image in which data for each observation wavelength is assignet to RGB.
There is a combinaton that matches the human eye (RGB1) and a combination that uses infrared rays (RGB2/RGB3/TI01).
The display RGB can be switched with the Layers button on the upper right.
List of observation wavelengths here.
See script here.

Ocean RGB image

This is an RGB image of the ocean with atmospheric effects removed.
By removing the effects of the atmosphrere, the colors are closer to what you actually see.
For the detail.
See script here.

Land Surface Temerature (LST)

There are two types: daytime (LSTD, D=DAY) and nighttime (LSTN, N=NIGHT).
Observations are made around 10:30 (JST) am during the day and around 1:30 (JST) am during the night.
For the detail.
See script here.

Chlorophyll-a concentration (CHLA)

Concentration of chlorophll-a pigment in marine phytoplankton.
Phytoplankton are important plants that absorb carbon dioxide through photosynthesis and support the bottom of the marine food chain.
For the detail.
See script here.

Total Suspended Matter (TSM)

Total Suspended Matter (TSM) is the amount of suspended solids (organic matter such as plankton combined with inorganic matter such as soil) on the surface of water.
Nutrient-Iaden sediment from river runoff is an important source of energy for marine plants.
For the detail.
See script here.

Sea Surface Temerature (SST)

There are two types: daytime (SSTD, D=DAY) and nighttime (SSTN, N=NIGHT).
Observations are made around 10:30 (JST) am during the day and around 1:30 (JST) am during the night.
For the detail.
See script here.

Floating Algae Index (FAI)

Floating Algae Index
For the detail.
See script here.

Land Surface Reflectance RGB image(RSRF)

Land surface reflectance corrected for the effects of atmospheric scattering and absorption.
For the detail.
